Salah AlNafisi is one of the prominent figures in the date industry in Saudi Arabia, and has played a pivotal role in the development of this sector for over 40 years. He began his journey in 1987 by founding the “Gulf Date Center,” which became the cornerstone of what would later turn into an economic empire in the date industry. His ultimate goal was not only to cultivate palm trees and produce dates, but to transform them into innovative products with high quality and economic value, making him a pioneer in this field.
In 1996, he founded “Kingdom Dates Company,” where he played a significant role in modernizing and developing agricultural and manufacturing technologies. He focused on expanding the network of date farms across the Kingdom. Additionally, he innovated many new products made from dates, which helped expand both the local and global date markets.
In 2024, after more than three decades of leadership and innovation, AlNafisi became part of “Tamar Company,” which was established to be a new milestone in the global palm and date industry. The company brings together everything Al-Nafisi started years ago, along with his aspirations to elevate this sector to entirely new levels by integrating modern technologies and the latest scientific advancements.
